In a bowl, combine the cereal with either milk or heavy cream. Stir and let sit while preparing your cookies.
After your cookies have been baked and cooled, strain out the cereal. The cereal milk is then ready for your frosting.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the centers of the cookies have puffed up and are no longer wet looking. Allow them to cool completely before frosting.
In the bowl of your stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Then add the extract and cereal milk. Mix until combined and smooth.
Frost cooled cookies then decorate with more cereal!
