Crumbl’s Peanut Butter Bar Cookies: Made at Home
Ingredients
Peanut Butter Cookie
Chocolate Frosting
Instructions
Peanut Butter Cookies
-
Preheat the oven to 350F then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat before setting it aside.
-
Cream the butter, peanut butter, and sugars together. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract then mix until combined. Add in the flour, oats, baking powder/soda, corn starch, and salt. Mix just until the flour mixture disappears. Take care not to overmix.
-
Using a large cookie scooper, scoop out 6 to 12 equally sized cookie dough balls. I like to gently flatten them with the palm of my hand so they don't spread as much in the oven. Bake in the preheated oven for 11-13 minutes.
-
After baking let them cool down on the baking sheet for about 20 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
Chocolate Frosting
-
Cream the butter, cream cheese, and vanilla extract together until smooth. Add in the icing sugar slowly until combined.
-
Add in the cocoa powder, then add in 2 tablespoons milk and mix again until fluffy. Add additional milk if needed.
-
Once cooled, frost each cookie with a thick layer of frosting then chill for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
