Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Brown Butter

  1. Make brown butter:  Add butter to a small saucepan set over medium heat, cooking until the butter begins to brown, about 4-7 minutes. Transfer to a heatproof bowl and stick in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes, but no longer or it'll be too hard.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. In the bowl of your stand mixer, beat together the browned butter and sugars until combined. Beat in the wet ingredients beating until creamy. Add the dry ingredients mixing until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and chocolate chunks.

  2. Scoop out the dough with the scoop size of choice, roll them into balls and place 3 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Add more chips or chunks to the top. Bake for 8-11 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet. They will continue to cook slightly as they sit on the baking sheet. Enjoy!
